About Us

The Secure Information Handling Academy (SIHA) was created by experienced information security practitioners with backgrounds spanning major commercial organisations and government environments. Collectively, the contributors have decades of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and governing security frameworks across complex, highly regulated sectors.

This practical experience underpins the content of our training. Rather than theoretical or overly technical material, our courses focus on the real-world risks associated with handling information, and the behaviours required to manage those risks effectively in day-to-day working environments.

Our aim is simple: to raise the standard of information handling across the contractor and contingent workforce community, in a way that is accessible, relevant, and immediately applicable.

The fee for undertaking the course and obtaining certification is intentionally kept low. It exists solely to support the ongoing operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the platform. There are no hidden costs, subscriptions, or commercial upsell — just a straightforward, practitioner-led programme designed to deliver genuine value.
